Organizer of the Conference: SRI International and the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching;

Conference Focus: SRI International (SRI) and the Carnegie Foundation for Advancement of Teaching will host an INCLUDES workshop and a supporting series of webinars aimed at the dual goals of supporting INCLUDES Launch Pilots during their first year. Together, SRI and Carnegie will offer a webinar series focused on a core set of closely related issues at the heart of any collective impact or networked improvement community (NIC) effort: (1) high leverage problems, (2) using data to improve, (3) formative evaluation, and (4) communication within and across networks. An in-person workshop will then follow organized around 4-6 common high-leverage problems, and participants will begin to build NICs around these problems to be carried into the second year of their work.

Conference Dates: Webinar series to begin early November 2016

In-person conference tentatively scheduled for March 21-23, 2017.

Participant Application Process: An application will be available on our project website. Most competitive applicants will have attended the webinar series and be able to articulate their contribution and need for participating in a networked improvement community with respect to the concepts covered in the webinar series.

Funding: Participant costs will be covered by the hosting organizations.
